As a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation since 2005, Watering Seeds Organization (WSO) continues to strive to grow its outreach in the community. WSO is dedicated to empowering our youth, wounded warriors, and challenged civilian communities through education, media, inspirational sports mentorship programs, and live entertainment events. All of this is provided for FREE by our organization. Our mission is to unify athletes, friends, and families in year around multiple sports activities and tournaments so that together they can relish in the excitement and intensity of wheelchair and adaptive sports. Such events benefit children and adults with disabilities, as well as wounded veterans and their families.
WSO sponsors several events for the children at Shriner’s Hospital, such as Christmas with Santa, Easter Egg Hunt, and Christmas in July. WSO has also been successful in putting on multiple exhibition games, clinics and tournaments in and around the Houston area including Pasadena, Pearland, Baytown, La Porte, Kingwood, and Beaumont, TX. Our organization has also been welcomed and introduced as part of the Houston Astros Opening ceremony. In the last 4 years, we have traveled to Chicago, Minnesota, and Biloxi, Mississippi twice to participate in the National Wheelchair Softball World Series, which we are now nationally ranked top 10 out of 25 teams.
This coming year we are excited to announce that we will be hosting the first ever All-Inclusive Wheelchair Super Bowl 1 in Pasadena, TX January 28-29 (Pro Bowl Weekend). Currently we are seeking sponsorship support for footballs, flags, tournament shirts, breakfast, lunch and dinner for Saturday, breakfast and lunch for Sunday, trophies and awards, banners, referee fees, water, ice, plates, cups, etc. We plan to have between 6 – 8 teams consisting of 15 players per team plus staff, spectators and referees.
Without the support of community-minded individuals like you, our impact is limited… Please help us grow. Remember, every donation makes a difference, regardless of size. Thank you in advance for your time and support of WSO. Your support provides more than money. It provides help, healing, and hope.
Thank You & God Bless,
